ZedOrder is a product of Zaryans Consulting (Pvt.) Ltd. ZedOrder is an AI ordering platform that helps businesses take and manage orders from their customers on their own WhatsApp Business number. The privacy of our visitors and users is of extreme importance to us. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by ZedOrder, and how we use it.
This policy applies only to our online activities. It is valid for visitors to this website and for users of the ZedOrder customer portal, and it does not apply to information collected offline or through channels other than this website and the portal. ZedOrder is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp. WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide it.
- Account and company information. When you register an account, we may ask for your company name, contact name, username, email address, WhatsApp number, country, currency, business type and the credentials you use to sign in.
- Business data. Products, prices, categories, customer records, orders, order status history and any training instructions you give to the AI assistant.
- Conversation data. When customers message a business's WhatsApp number, we receive and process their phone number, profile name, the messages they send and the replies our assistant sends back, so that orders can be understood and recorded.
- Billing information. Your plan, order and AI-usage counts, wallet balance, top-up requests, and the payment references or proof of payment you submit.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us directly, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message and any other information you choose to provide.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- provide, operate and maintain ZedOrder, including taking and managing orders for the businesses that use it;
- process messages with automated systems, including artificial intelligence, that match requests to the business's own product catalog;
- improve, personalise and expand our services;
- understand and analyse how you use our website and portal;
- develop new products, services, features and functionality;
- manage plans, usage, billing and payments;
- communicate with you, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the service, and for security and billing notices;
- find and prevent fraud and abuse; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use order conversations for advertising purposes.
Customers of our business users
When a person places an order with a business that uses ZedOrder, we process that person's information on behalf of, and under the instructions of, that business. The business is responsible for its relationship with its customers. If you ordered from a business that uses ZedOrder and have a question about your order data, please contact that business first. You may also contact us using the details below, and we will help pass your request on.
Artificial intelligence
ZedOrder uses artificial intelligence to read customer messages and build carts. The assistant is designed to answer from the business's own product, price and availability data. To provide this feature, the content of messages may be processed by trusted third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf. AI output can be imperfect, so businesses should review orders in their dashboard.
WhatsApp and Meta
ZedOrder connects to the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta. Messages travel through Meta's infrastructure, and Meta handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review Meta's privacy policy. We are not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp.
Log files
ZedOrder follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites and use online services. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring and exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, keeping the service secure, and gathering general information about how the service is used.
Cookies and web beacons
Like any other website, ZedOrder uses "cookies" and similar browser storage. These are used to store information such as your preferences (for example, your light or dark theme) and, in the portal, to keep you signed in. The information is used to optimise your experience by customising our content based on your browser type and other information.
If we run advertising campaigns on Meta platforms, we may use the Meta Pixel or similar tools to measure how our ads perform. You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options, and you can manage ad personalisation in your Meta ad settings.
Our advertising and third-party partners
Some of the services we use, and some of our advertising partners, may use cookies, JavaScript or web beacons in their own links and advertisements. These third parties receive your IP address automatically when this happens, and they use them to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns and to personalise the advertising content you see.
Note that ZedOrder has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. We recommend that you consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party services for more detailed information, and for instructions about how to opt out of certain options.
Who we share information with
- the business you ordered from, which receives its customers' orders and conversation details;
- service providers that help us run ZedOrder, such as cloud hosting, messaging, AI processing, email and support tools, who may only use the information to provide services to us;
- Meta, through the WhatsApp Business Platform, as described above;
- authorities and advisers where the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and security; and
- a successor business if we are involved in a merger, sale or reorganisation.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records, such as billing records, to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations or to resolve disputes.
We use access controls, authenticated sessions and encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
CCPA privacy rights (do not sell my personal information)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:
- request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data discloses the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers;
- request that a business deletes any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected; and
- request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data not sell the consumer's personal data.
We do not sell personal information. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
GDPR data protection rights
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access. You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification. You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate, and to complete information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure. You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability. You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

How to request access or deletion of your data
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, email info@zedorderai.com with the subject "Data request". Please include the business name or WhatsApp number linked to your account so that we can find it. We will confirm your identity and respond within one month.
Children's information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. ZedOrder is intended for businesses and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website or portal, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
